Justin Pacovsky returns to the sidelines in 2015-2016, for his third season on head coach Dave Caputo’s staff.
Pacovsky helped contribute to the Bears’ 37 wins over the past two seasons including a 33-9 conference record and two CACC North Division titles. Justin’s main responsibilities include player development, assisting during practice, recruiting, video coordinating, and scheduling.
In his first year on staff, Pacovsky assisted the Bears to a 20-win season. The 2013-2014 season produced both the CACC North Division title and the CACC Conference Tournament Championship, both first time achievements since the school became a member of the NCAA’s Division II in 2002.
Prior to joining Coach Caputo’s staff, Pacovsky served as a practice player for Mike Carey’s staff and the West Virginia University (WVU) Women’s Basketball team. He also served as an intern for Toni Oliverio, the Director of Basketball Operations for the WVU Women’s Basketball program. As a member of the WVU practice team, Pacovsky helped run the scout team in preparing for and against the National Champion Uconn Huskies, Notre Dame Irish, Louisville Cardinals, Rutgers Scarlet Knights, Baylor Bears and many more BCS powers.
After graduating Summa Cum Laude and earning his B.A. in Sport Management at West Virginia in 2012, Pacovsky went on to complete his Masters degree in Business Administration from Bloomsburg University in 2013.
In the summer, Coach Pacovsky enjoys working different basketball camps including numerous ones run by 5 Star Basketball.
