Bloomfield falls to Wilmington 2-0

BOX SCORE

BLOOMFIELD, N.J. -
The Bloomfield College men's soccer team fell to 2-10 overall and 2-5 in conference play Oct. 12, as they dropped a 2-0 decision to Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) rival Wilmington University at Foley Field.

After a scoreless first half, the Wildcats would finally break through with the decisive strike of the afternoon in the 77th minute, as Tim Bailey (Simpsonville, S.C.) knocked in a rebound off a shot from Otis Williams (London, England) to give Wilmington a 1-0 lead with 13 minutes to play.  The Wildcats would push the advantage to 2-0 in the 85th minute, as Elton Joe (Baltimore, Md.) iced the win for the visitors with a goal off an assist from Tom Quaranta (Baltimore, Md.) to hand the Deacons their fifth conference loss of the 2013 season.

Bloomfield returns to action Oct. 15, when they welcome non-conference opponent Dowling College to Foley Field for a midweek match.  Kickoff for the contest is scheduled for 7 p.m.
