WATERBURY, Conn. - Bloomfield College saw three assists from Lexi Carroll propel the Eagles of Post University to a 4-0 result over the Bears Thursday afternoon at LaMoy Field.
Â
The loss closed out the Bears 2015 campaign at 3-10-2 and 1-9-2 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play, while the Eagles now stand at 9-6-1 and 9-2-1 in league play.
Â
Post wasted little time out of the gate, finding the net on a Carroll cross at 12:18 to put the home team up 1-0. The advantage doubled when another cross off the foot of Carroll found a Post striker for a 2-0 edge just before halftime.

At the break, the Eagles took 10 shots with 4 of them on target and the Bloomfield junior keeper,
Diana Vincentini (Washington TWP, N.J) picked up saves on two of them.
Â
The Post offense added two more goals in the second half to claim the CACC victory and the Bears mustered two shots in the final period. Vincentini finished out 2015 with four saves during the match.
