NYACK, N.Y. -
Tianna Smith (Spring Valley, N.Y.) continued her stellar play in 2015 with a 23-point performance to lead the Bears over Nyack College, 67-54 Saturday afternoon. Bloomfield travelled into the Empire State and faced their Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) North Division rival for the first time this season. The victory marked the Bears 5th straight and pushed their overall record to 9-2 on the year with an undefeated, 5-0 mark in conference action. The Warriors fell to 4-6 overall and 2-2 in league play.
Bloomfield held Nyack to a season low 29.6 percent (16-54) from the field, including a dismal 6.7 percent (1-15) from long distance. The Bears also forced 25 Warrior turnovers and converted them into 32 points.

Nyack would get as close as 61-54 with 1:50 to play, but the Bears defense stiffened and the home team was held scoreless for the rest of the game.
