BLOOMFIELD, N.J. – After pulling out a 2-2 tie on Saturday afternoon the Bloomfield College women's soccer team lost a 3-0 battle at Foley Field Monday evening to Molloy College. The non-conference shutout dropped the Bears to 0-11-1 overall while the Lions improved to 6-5-1 on the season.

Adeline Argabrite (Bloomfield, N.J.) started in goal for the home team and kept the Lions off the board for most of the opening half but a misplayed ball left an empty net for Danielle Valente who scored the game's first point in the 44
th minute of play. Less than a minute later, Valente scored another goal on a blast outside the 18 that sailed over the Bears freshman goalie's head for a 2-0 visitors advantage at the half
Argabrite finished the night with eleven saves but not before Valente picked up the hat-trick at the 66:02 minute mark and the Lions roared away with their third non-conference victory over a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) opponent.
The Bears next contest will be Thursday (Oct. 13) when they visit the Warriors of Nyack College for a 7:30 pm match to be played on the Nyack High School field.
