RUTHERFORD, N.J. – In only their second Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) outing the Bears men's basketball team took down a red hot Felician University squad, 92-84 at Job Gymnasium in Rutherford, N.J. Bloomfield snapped the Golden Falcons' five-game win streak which included a recent victory over Post University, who gave the Bears their lone loss in league play this season.
Nick Davidson (Lumberton, N.J.) led the way offensively for the visiting team as Bloomfield shot 47.0 percent from the field and freshman,
Dontay Julius (Linden, N.J.) registered a career-high 23 points on 7-of-10shooting from the floor.

How It Happened
- Bloomfield posted five players in double figures as starters, Safee Abdus-Sabur (Newark, N.J.) Rakwan Kelly (Newark, N.J.) and Marcus Fleming (Linden, N.J.) chipped in 14, 12 and 11 points respectively
- The Bears, who never trailed in the contest, began the game with a 19-6 advantage and ballooned their lead to nineteen (38-19) on a tri-fecta from Abdus-Sabur in the first half
- Felician came back to cut their deficit to 50-39 heading into the halftime break as Julius and Davidson combined for 29 of the Bears opening period points
- Davidson knocked down back-to-back buckets to extend the Bears lead to eighteen (60-42) in the second half but the Golden Falcons soared to an 11-0 run later in the period to pull within, 74-71 with 6:46 remaining
- The Bloomfield defense stiffened as they allowed one point over the next three minutes and secured the CACC victory down the stretch to even out their conference record
