NEWARK, N.J. – The Bloomfield College Bears baseball team rallied in the ninth inning of game two and eventually picked up a split with the Griffins of Chestnut Hill after 13 innings of play Saturday Thursday afternoon at West Side Park as they won 4-3 after dropping game one 12-3. Harry Montero (Millville, N.J.) beat out a double play throw at first that allowed the game-winning run to score in the second game of the day.
Bloomfield improved to 6-15 with the split and 3-5 in league play while the Griffins moved to 5-1 in CACC matches and 14-13 overall.
