NEWARK, N.J. - The Bloomfield College Bears 2016 baseball season officially came to an end Monday afternoon as Felician University powered six home runs during a doubleheader sweep at West Side Park to closeout the regular season for both teams. The 16-8 and 6-3 victories crowned the Golden Falcons the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) regular season champions and secured the #1 seed heading into the post-season with a 16-4 league record and a 29-18 overall mark. The setbacks eliminated the Bears from playoff contention and ended their 2016 campaign with an 8-12 conference mark and an 11-26 overall record, both improvements over last year's standings.
