WOMEN'S SOCCER EDGED OUT, 1-0 ON THE ROAD IN WILMINGTON

WILMINGTON, DEL. – The Bloomfield College women's soccer team suffered a loss on the road Saturday afternoon at Wilmington University. The Wildcats edged out the Bears 1-0 in a competitive Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match-up that left the visitors at 1-12-1 overall and 0-9-1 in league play while the home squad improved to 7-8 on the season and 6-3 in conference.

The Bears senior goalkeeper, Emira Sela (Staten Island, NY) recorded seven saves for the afternoon but allowed one goal in the 42nd minute of play that proved to be the game winner as the visiting keep pitched a shutout in the 2nd half. The Bloomfield offense fired three shots on goal during the contest led by senior, Lisa Parello (Staten Island, NY) with two of them.

The Bears will seek their first CACC win on Tuesday when they welcome the Clippers into town. Concordia College enters Foley Field for a 7:00 pm first touch under the lights.
