PORCELLO AND HODSON NAMED TO KUTZTOWN ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM AFTER DUALS

WHITEHALL, Pa.­- The Bears women's bowling team travelled back to Pennsylvania for the second time in 2018 to compete, this time, at the Kutztown Duals on Saturday. The Bears completed the 4-team dual hosted by Kutztown University with a, 0-5 mark after facing Molloy, LIU Post and the host, Bears. Bloomfield fell to 4-24 overall after Saturday's action.
 
The Bears dropped their opening two Baker games, 937-767 to Molloy College and 995-796 to LIU Post. Bloomfield next faced Kutztown and suffered a, 721-745 setback in a 5-person team game. The next two team-games against LIU-Post and Molloy didn't go the Bears way as they fell, 898-882 and 748-848 respectively. 
 
Sophomores Natalya Porcello (Albany, NY) and Quinn Hodson (Albany, NY) led the total pinfall count for Bloomfield with 564 and 534. Porcello had a high round of 225 against LIU Post and Quinn's average of 178 earned the tandem spots on All-Tournament Team.
 
The Bears will hit the practice lanes until their next tournament on November 30thwhen they head down to Wilmington, Delaware. The Bears compete at the Wildcat Invitational from Friday to Sunday and look to get back on the winning track.
