LAKEWOOD, N.J. (May 6, 2018) -- In just their 3rd season of existence, Bloomfield College produced a first-place total of 196.5 points to narrowly edge out Georgian Court University (192.5 pts) to capture the program's first league title on Sunday in the 2018 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Track & Field Championship on the GCU campus in Lakewood, N.J. Under 2017 CACC Men's Track & Field Coach of the Year, Lisa Morgan-Richman, the Bears set six new conference records on the men's side and added 5 on the women's side, who placed 2nd for the second consecutive year at the league meet.
Five individuals and two relay teams captured victories in their respective events to lead the Bears to the team championship.
