BLOOMFIELD, NJ – The Bloomfield College men's soccer team continue to search for their first victory of the season as they dropped a, 2-0 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match against Post University. The visiting Eagles used two late goals in each half to secure the conference win.
The Bears suffered their third consecutive shutout and fell to 0-5 to start 2018 and 0-3 in CACC play. The visitors improved to 3-4 overall and 2-1 in league games after registering goals in the 43

Robert Kornel (Berlin, Germany). Kornel made two saves for the game after facing just 4 shots on target during his fifth test in the Bears goal.
Regsan Watkins (Cape Town, South Africa) carried the offensive load for the home team, firing off five shots for the match, three on goal with one seemingly going in but ruled as a ricochet off the post by the officiating crew. The Eagles freshman keeper, Fredrik Pedersen notched his first career shutout after saving four shots on target from the home team.
Bloomfield will try to turn around their fortunes on Saturday, Sept. 22 when they head on the road to face Holy Family University. The conference battle against the Tigers is set for a first touch at 2:30 pm from Tiger Field in Philadelphia.
