BLOOMFIELD, NJ– The Bears women's soccer team dropped a see-saw battle Saturday afternoon against the Jefferson Rams. Bloomfield saw a, 4-2 decision go the visitors' way at Foley Field in a Central Atlantic Collegiate (CACC) match up. 
 
The Bears (1-8-1, 0-5-1) spotted the Rams a goal in the 1^sthalf with senior goalkeeper, Jessica Larson (Delran, NJ) facing 8 shots and conceding the score in the 21^stminute. Just over 10 minutes into the second frame, Jefferson found the back of the net again on a give-and-go goal to claim a commanding 2-0 lead. Bloomfield dug their claws in and roared back with two scores to even up the league contest. Brigid Dwyer (Brick, NJ) netted her first score of the year on a feed from Lisa Parello (Staten Island, NY) at the 71:14 minute-mark. Five minutes later, Victoria Napolitano (Garwood, NJ) recorded her third goal of 2018 on a feed from Imani Young (Berlin, NJ) and the home team was back in business. 
 
The comeback was short-lived however when Jefferson blasted a shot into the top shelf over Larson's outstretched arm for the go-ahead goal in the 79^thminute followed by a insurance score to cap the game at the 84:16 mark.
 
Bloomfield will travel for their next CACC battle on the pitch at Nyack College. The Tuesday contest is scheduled for a 4:00 pm start against the Warriors.
