PHILADELPHIA, PA - The Bears women's soccer team hit the road Saturday afternoon to face Holy Family University and suffered a, 3-0 setback at the New Tiger Field. The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) loss left Bloomfield at 2-5 overall and 0-3 in league contests while the Tigers improved to a perfect 5-0 in the CACC and 6-1-1 overall. 

Freshman goalkeeper, Maria Taseva (Elmwood Park, NJ) saw 90 minutes of action in the first collegiate start of her career and picked up nine saves. All three of the home team's goals came in the 2nd half of play after wearing down the Bears defense and finishing the game with twenty-six shot attempts to the visitors' seven.  uniform after she came on for starter, Mia Phillip (Bridgewater, NJ) who registered four saves in 70 minutes of work. 

Next on the schedule, Bloomfield is set to play their first home game in 2021 on Wednesday, October 6th. Their Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) opponent will be Post University with the start time slated for 7:00 pm.
