FAIRFIELD, Conn.- The Bloomfield College women's bowling team opened up their season at the 'Bowl for the Cure Invitational' hosted by Sacred Heart University on Sunday. The Bears were unable to pick up a victory in their first outing and finished the day 0-5.
 
Bloomfield opened and closed the day with, 797-778 and 899-755 setbacks respectively to Felician University. The Bears also lost to Molly College 899-767 and LIU Brooklyn 891-869. Bloomfield dropped a match to another team from Brooklyn when they came out on the wrong side of a 905-859 decision to St. Francis College.
 
The Bears return to the lanes this weekend as they compete in the Dezy Strong Classic hosted by Adelphi University, October 29-31.
