WATERBURY, CONN. – Bloomfield used two goals in less than a two-minute span in the 2
nd half to claim a 2-1 victory on the road against Post University. The Tuesday afternoon Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) contest on Lamoy Field improved the Bears overall record to 4-5-1 and 3-1 in league play while the Eagles dropped to 2-5-1 on the season and 2-2 in conference matches.
Matiss Zegele (Marupe, Lativa) drew an equalizing goal at the 69:20 minute-mark after the home team took a 1-0 advantage in the 51
st minute.
Mateuz Koslowski (Madrid, Spain) assisted on the goal as Bloomfield seized the momentum of the game. Just over a minute later (70:57),
Edgar Torres (Dallas, TX) scored what proved to be the game-winner, as he drove a ball into the upper left-hand corner of the goal from outside the 18.
In goal,
Robert Kornel (Berlin, Germany) made five saves in his fourth win of the season.

The Bears host their first game of 2021 on Saturday October 9
th when Georgian Court University comes to Foley Field. Bloomfield's home field was damaged during Hurricane Ida and the Bears are glad to be back on familiar ground for the scheduled 3:30 pm CACC battle.
