WILMINGTON, DEL. – Led by a stellar effort in the circle by their pitching staff, Bloomfield College advanced to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championship Finals for the first time since 2012 after an, 8-1 victory Monday afternoon. The Bears took down regionally-ranked, Wilmington University, at Asbury Field and improved to 12-18-1 on the year. The CACC'S #3 seeded Wildcats fell to 19-15 as their league tournament run came to an end.
Bloomfield will face Georgian Court University in the CACC Championship Final on Wednesday, May 12
th. The first pitch is slated to be thrown at 3:00 pm. Live stats and video will be provided on the CACC Network.
