ALBANY, NY. – Bloomfield College hit the road Saturday afternoon and battled to a, 1-1 tie against The College of Saint Rose on Sullivan Field at the Plumeri Sports Complex in Albany.
Quincy Baal (Rotterdam, Netherlands) ran onto a ball at the 8-yd mid-area from
Edgar Torres (Dallas, TX) and pushed an equalizing shot past the goalkeeper in the 82
nd minute of regulation that helped move the visitors to 1-3-1 on the season. The Golden Knights record went to 1-2-1 after the non-conference match.
Baal took 5 shots during the contest, all of them on goal as Bloomfield picked up the offensive pace in the 2
ndhalf on the pitch. In goal for Bloomfield,
Robert Kornel (Berlin, Germany) had six saves on the day and moved his season total to 29 stops in 2021.
Next, the Bears travel to Staten Island, NY for a contest against the Dolphins on Wednesday, September 22
nd. The College of Staten Island welcome Bloomfield for a 4:00 pm first touch.
