BLOOMFIELD, NJ– The Bears men's basketball team saw their four-game winning streak snapped as Jefferson University took a, 92-89 win Sunday afternoon The Den. The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) setback evened Bloomfield's league record at 5-5 while dropping them to 7-12 overall. The Rams improved their conference mark to 9-1 for the year and 13-4 overall after Sundays performance.
Bloomfield was led by
Josh Morris (Ewing, NJ) and
Wesley Robinson (Burlington, NJ) who each scored 19 points. Robinson's 8-for-13 performance from the floor was good for a career-high for him and CACC Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week,
Andres Fulgencio (Teaneck, NJ) followed up with 17 points and 8 boards. Tyrek Battle Holley (Jersey City, NJ) finished the game with 15 points, going 5-of-8 from the field and a perfect 5-for-5 from the free throw line.
The Bears next contest will be Wednesday, Feb 2
ndwhen they travel to Southern Connecticut State University for a 7:00 pm non- conference battle with the Owls.
