BRIDGEPORT, CONN. – The men's soccer team (1-7-3, 1-5-1 CACC) found themselves on the wrong side of a, 2-0 shutout Tuesday evening at The University of Bridgeport (8-3-1, 6-1-0 CACC). The Purple Knights scored a goal in just the third minute of the game and the visiting Bears couldn't recover the rest of the game. 
 
Bloomfield had struggled on offense all season and the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match-up on Tuesday proved to be no different as the visitors managed only one shot on goal for the contest. Jomar Vizcaino (New Brunswick, NJ) got the start in goal and made 3 saves on 5 shots faced with Bridgeport finding their 2^nd goal of the evening at the 24:53 minute mark..
 
The Bears continue their action on the road Saturday, October 8^th when they travel to Lakewood for another CACC match with Georgian Court University. The Lions await to do battle at 2:30 pm with Bloomfield.
