BLOOMFIELD, NJ – The Bears women's basketball team suffered a 74-60 loss at the hands of Queens College Tuesday evening. The Knights (1-3) never trailed from start to finish in the non-conference battle in The Den.
Bloomfield (1-4) fell behind early after a 22-13 first quarter. The home team only registered one player in double-digit scoring as starter,
Tiara Mahorn (Irvington, NJ) scored 11 points. The Bears shot just 34.3 percent (24-of-70) from the field while Queens shot a blistering 50.0 percent (33-for-66) on the evening.
Bloomfield will be back in action this Thanksgiving weekend with a trip to the nation's capitol to face the University of the District of Columbia. The non-conference battle is schedule for a 1:00 pm tip-off.
