BLOOMFIELD, NJ – The Bloomfield college women's basketball team dropped their thirteenth straight game Tuesday evening in a, 61-48 setback against Caldwell University. The Cougars (8-9, 4-5 CACC) held the home team to just three points in the 2
ndquarter and never looked back.
The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match-up in The Den saw the Bears (1-16, 0-8) shoot just 26.0 percent from the field (20-of-77) as
Saja Alston (Newark, NJ) scored a team-high 15 points. Freshman forward,
Anisha Able (Newark, NJ) snagged a game-high 13 rebounds in her starting role while classmate Erica Mercedes (Union City, NJ) came off the bench to score 11 points.
Bloomfield will host another CACC contest on Saturday, January 21
stagainst Georgian Court University. The Lions roll into the den for a 1:00 pm tip-off.
