BLOOMFIELD, NJ – The women's soccer team saw a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) contest against Goldey-Beacom College (GBC) get out of reach, falling, 6-0. The Lightning slid past the Bears as the teams played in the rain Saturday afternoon at Foley Field.
GBC scored four goals in the opening half and improved their conference record to, 2-2-3 and overall mark to 2-4-6. Bloomfield allowed two more goals in the second half as they dropped to 1-8 overall and still searching for their first league win at, 0-6.
Next up the Bears host the University of Bridgeport for another CACC contest on Tuesday, October 17th. Bloomfield will wear pink to show support of Breast Cancer Awareness month when they square-off with the Purple Knights at 7:00 pm at Foley Field.
