PHILADELPHIA, P.A. - The Bears women's soccer team traveled to Philadelphia Saturday afternoon and lost a, 7-1 battle to Holy Family University. The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) setback left Bloomfield with a 1-10 record and still searching for their first league victory at 0-8. The Tigers improved their CACC record to 3-2-3 and advanced their overall mark to 4-5-3.
Holy Family managed a, 12-1 advantage in shots on goal for the match. Bloomfield's only shot on target became Leigha Bradding-Butler's fourth goal of the year. The Bears leading scorer on the season found the back of the net in the 87thminute on a feed from Valentina Beltran.
Bloomfield will be back on the pitch on Wednesday when they travel to Dominican University. The CACC match-up is set for a 3:30 pm first touch in Orangeburg, NY.
