HACKENSACK, NJ – The Bears women's basketball team faced NCAA Division I opponent, FDU Wednesday evening and suffered an, 86-38 setback on the road. Bloomfield dropped to 1-6 overall on the season with the loss while the Knights improved to 2-7 for the year.
Kamrin Babbs was the lone Bears scorer in double-figures with, 11 points on 5-of-13 shooting from the floor which included 1-of-3 from three-point range. Babbs also had a team-high 7 rebounds during the non-conference match up.
As a team, Bloomfield shot 23.3 percent from the field (14-60 FG) and FDU used thirteen made three-pointers to distance themselves from the visitors.
Next up for the Bears, they return home for another non-conference showdown, this time against the Lions from Lincoln University. The game is set for a 1:00 pm tip-off at The Den.
