BLOOMFIELD, NJ – A year removed from missing the postseason for the first time in over a decade, Bloomfield College men's basketball is poised to make a run in the 2022-23 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Tournament. The Bears, led by sophomore, Andres Fulgencio (Englewood, NJ) who is averaging 16.0 points per game and shooting a blistering 45.0 percent from 3-point range, will face Georgian Court University on Tuesday at 6:00 pm in The Den. Bloomfield secured the home playoff game and the CACC North Division #2 seed after knocking off the top team in the league on Saturday in an 89-59 victory over Caldwell University.

The regular season finale set the stage for the Bears, a team hitting their stride down the stretch, winning nine of-their last ten games dating back to January 21st, the last time they faced Georgian Court.  As a squad, Bloomfield is tops in the CACC in rebounds per game at 44.2 and 2^nd in scoring at 80.8 points per game. 

The reigning CACC Player of the Week, Josh Morris (Ewing, NJ) who averaged 24.0 ppg last week will stand side-by-side with the CACC Defensive Player of the Week, Edward Ngene (Lindenwold, NJ) who blocked 10 shots in the regular season finale as the Lions enter The Den Tuesday evening in front of an electrifying crowd.
