BLOOMFIELD, NJ – The Bears men's basketball team saw a four-game win streak come to an end Wednesday when they lost a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) contest on the road, 87-77 to Felician University.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The teams traded baskets across the first ten minutes of play to a 16-16 tie until an Ethan Maynard three opened up a Bears 5-0 spurt with 9:54 to play in the half.
• The CACC rivals were knotted again five minutes later at 29-29 and by the end of the period, the visitors held a slight, 37-36 edge.
• The evenly matched division rivals started the 2^nd half the same way the game began, trading buckets to the tune of a 61-61 tie after ten minutes of play. 
• The home team found themselves ahead five (69-64) after a Pierce jumper. Bloomfield closed the gap to one (76-75) with 3:25 to go but the Golden Falcons soared with an 11-2 spurt to close out the match-up. 

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

• The Bears shot 44.1 percent from the field in the opening half and finished the game at 41.8 percent (28-for-67).
• Felician edged Bloomfield in second chance points (15-11), points in the paint (26-22) and points off turnovers (11-8).
• The Golden Falcons also held the advantage in fast break points, 17-7. also had a 47-43 rebound advantage and their bench outscored the home team, 42-15.

• The Bears hit the road Saturday, January 25 when they head down to face Wilmington University at 3:00 pm.
