BUFFALO, NY – The Bloomfield College men's soccer team traveled up to Buffalo on Saturday to face the Bobcats from Bryant & Stratton College (BSC) and came away with a 1-1 tie in USCAA Division I action.
The Bears (1-5-3) jumped ahead with the first score of the match in the 29
th minute off the foot of
Freddy Vasquez. The freshman netted his first collegiate goal as he gave the away squad the early advantage on the road.
BSC of Buffalo (0-5-1) found the equalizer at the 41:01 minute-mark in front of the home crowd. Bloomfield's keeper,
Gamaliel Olarte and the defense kept the Bobcats off the scoreboard for the rest of the match with the freshman goalie registering 6 saves.

The Bears return to the Empire State on Thursday when they get their second look at Five Towns College. The Sound will host Bloomfield for a 4:30 pm kick-off in Fort Dix.
