Bloomfield, NJ – The Bloomfield College men's soccer team battled for ninety minutes against visiting Five Towns College on Saturday with the squads settling for a, 0-0 draw on Foley Field.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Bears (1-4-2) came out focused in the first half of play and controlled the pace for most of the period. The home team enjoyed advantages in shots (7-1), shots on goal (5-1) and corners (4-1) in the opening period.
- Erick Bonilla had four shots (one on goal) in only sixty-one minutes of play.
- Five Towns (5-1-3) goalie, Jose Garcia recorded eight saves under the Bloomfield offensive attack.
- Freshman keeper, Gamaliel Olarte made three saves on the day and recorded his second clean sheet of the season.

The Bears will host another USCAA opponent on Tuesday when they welcome Bryant & Stratton College of Syracuse to Foley Field. The rescheduled match, originally set for September 6
th, will take place October 7
th with a scheduled 1:00 PM kickoff time.
