DOVER, DEL – The Bears women's basketball team (0-2) suffered their second setback of the regular season as they fell, 74-58 to Delaware State University (2-2) Wednesday morning. The Hornets were Bloomfield's 2
nd straight NCAA Division I opponent of the 2025-26 campaign.
The Bears were led by junior transfer,
Nia Mallette who poured in 19 points fueled by 10-of-11 shooting from the freethrow line. Senior,
Anisha Able, recorded her first double-double of the year snagging 15 rebounds to go along with 17 points and even snagged 4 steals for the visitors.

Bloomfield hits the road again, this time for their first USCAA Division I action when they travel to face Villa Maria College on Saturday, November 15
th. The 1:00 pm scheduled tip-off will mark the Bears first ever meeting with the Vikings.
