BLOOMFIELD, NJ – The Bears men's basketball team moved to 3-0 in USCAA play after a, 98-91 decision over Bryant and Stratton College of Syracuse Friday night. Senior forward,
Marcus Bucknall, set the standard for the home squad, racking up a career-high 25 points to go along with 11 rebounds and 3 steals.
Zamorian Singleton, after a slow start with 5 points in the opening half, joined Bucknall in double-double territory, posting 23 points by the end of the game and 11 boards. Singleton also dished out 4 assists as he and Bucknall combined for almost half Bloomfield's point total (48 points).
Cameron McRae and
Brandon Hendryx came off the bench to give the home team a spark and went for 16 and 11 points respectively. McRae added 6 assists and 4 steals to the Bears effort.
Despite being down by 15 points (59-44) in the 2
nd half, the Bears clawed all the way back to tie the score at 83 with a little over four minutes to play. Bloomfield would not be denied and push ahead down the stretch to claim their third-straight USCAA win.

The Bears will return to The Den for more action on Sunday, November 23 when they welcome another Bryant & Stratton College team. The showdown with the Bobcats from Rochester is set for a 1:00 PM tip-off.
