BLOOMFIELD, NJ - Bloomfield College Athletics sends their deepest sympathies to the family of former men's basketball player, Arthur Sabb Jr. who passed away peacefully on March 18th in Long Pond, PA. Born on October 17, 1965, in Jersey City, NJ, Arthur was a beloved son, husband, brother, uncle, and friend.

Arthur was the cherished son of Catherine Sabb and the late Arthur Sabb Sr. He was a proud graduate of St. Michael's High School and Bloomfield College, where he excelled both academically and athletically. His passion for basketball led him to be drafted by the Utah Jazz in 1987, a testament to his dedication and talent. In 1995 Arthur was inducted into the Bloomfield College Hall of Fame.

Following his basketball career, Arthur transitioned seamlessly into the world of retail management, achieving significant success with Walmart. His professional achievements were a reflection of his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.

Arthur was a devoted family man, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter. He is survived by his loving wife, Rachel Sabb; his loving mother, Catherine Sabb; his brothers, Glenn (Wanda) Sabb of Philadelphia, PA, and Dwayne (Adelaide) Sabb Sr. of Woodbridge, NJ; his uncle, Lish Sabb Jr. of Allendale, SC; his aunt, Lucille Jiggetts of Jersey City, NJ; his loving nieces, Candace, Courtney, and Alyana; his nephews, Dwayne, Glenn, Dylan and Domonick; his grand nephew, Corey; his dear cousins, Lish Sabb 3rd, Brian Deloach, and Ricky Deloach; and many more loving family members and friends. He will also be fondly remembered by his pet, Gabby.

Arthur's warmth, kindness, and infectious spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
