NEWARK, NJ - The Bears baseball team continued their Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) series against Caldwell University with a doubleheader at Vailsburg Park. The Cougars completed the series sweep of Bloomfield, taking both games on Sunday and improved to 11-13 overall with a 7-9 mark in conference play. The home team dropped to 0-18 overall and 0-8 in league matches.
GAME 1 - CALDWELL 20, BLOOMFIELD 2 - 7 Innings
The Cougars pushed across 20 runs on 16 hits with six extra-base hits and two homeruns . Bloomfield registered two runs on four hits with three errors.

• Stephen Young Jr. was 1-3 with two RBI and two runs scored.

GAME 2 - CALDWELL 11, BLOOMFIELD 4 - 7 Innings
The visitors scored 11 runs on 11 hits while the Bears scored four runs on two hits and committed three more errors.
