Biography
About Upshaw-Goree: An imposing forward with an all-around game, Stacey rejoins the Deacons for his sophomore season in 2012-2013, and will be one of the primary frontcourt weapons for Bloomfield as the season begins.
As a freshman: Appeared in 12 games in 2011-2012, averaging 9.1 minutes per contest...Averaged 2.9 points, and 1.5 rebounds per game...Came off the bench to total a career-high 10 points in a 66-61 victory over non-conference opponent The College of Saint Rose December 18, 2012.
Before Bloomfield: Stacey starred at Winslow Township High School before joining the men’s basketball program at
Bloomfield College.
Why Stacey chose Division II: “I chose to come to Bloomfield because I felt it was a place where I could succeed.”
