Bloomfield College

About Udo:  A talented defender who can finish around the rim, Udo enjoyed a stellar campaign in the middle for Bloomfield during 2012-2013, and will be relied on to control the paint and become one of the top post players in the East Region during his senior campaign in 2013-2014. 

As a sophomore:  Played in 34 games with 31 starts, averaging 25.9 minutes per contest...Finished fifth on the Deacons in scoring as a sophomore in 2011-2012, averaging 8.3 points per game...Bloomfield's leading rebounder, Udo averaged 8.8 rebounds per game, placing him fourth in the CACC...Led the Deacons with 1.8 blocks per game, good for 37th in the nation and third in the CACC...Totaled a career-high eight blocks in a victory over CACC North Division rival Nyack College on January 3, 2012...Reached double-figures in scoring in 12 games as a sophomore...Totaled eight double-doubles on the season, notching a career-high 16 rebounds in a victory over Kentucky Wesleyan November 16, 2012. 

As a freshman:  Played in 24 games with two starts for Bloomfield in 2010-2011...Averaged 5.3 points and 6.0 rebounds in 16.3 minutes per contest...Led the Deacons and finished third in the CACC with 2.21 blocked shots per game, totaling 53 total blocks in 24 games...Kevin's 2.2 blocks per game placed him 24^th in the nation among Division II players...Udo's signature performance on the Deacons' run to the Elite Eight came in the NCAA Tournament's Opening Round against American International College, the big man going for a career-high 17 points, 10 rebounds and five blocks in a 100-96 victory.

Before Bloomfield:  Picking up the sport of basketball as a senior in high school, Kevin starred as a member of the men's volleyball team while at St. Peter's Seminary.

Why Kevin chose Division II:  “I chose Division II because I knew Bloomfield was a place where I could get a great education and play basketball at a high level.”
