Biography

About Scudiero:  A solid right-hander with a quality arsenal, Francesco rejoins the Deacons as a sophomore in 2013 after a breakout rookie season that saw him become one of the top young starters in the CACC.  Bloomfield will lean on Scudiero to help anchor the pitching staff in his second season with the program.

As a freshman:  Made 12 appearances on the mound with six starts...Posted a 7-2 record, his seven victories tops on the 2012 Deacons...Totaled 65.1 innings, surrendering 57 hits...Walked just 14 hitters on the season...Posted a 2.07 ERA, tops on the Deacons and fifth in the CACC...Seven victories placed Scudiero third in the CACC...Banner rookie season earned Scudiero a Second Team All-CACC selection following the 2012 regular season.

Before Bloomfield:  Francesco attended C.W. Post University before joining the Bloomfield College baseball program in the spring of 2012.

Why Francesco chose Division II:  “I chose Bloomfield College because I felt it was the best possible fit for me.”
