Biography
About Ahaneku:
Blessed with an all-around game, Nnamdi can beat you in a multitude of ways on the basketball court. An outstanding rebounder with the ability to put the ball in the hole from anywhere on the court, the Deacons expect big things from Ahaneku off the bench this season.
As a junior:
Played in 20 games making four starts for the Deacons in 08’-09’.
Averaged 2.3 points, and 2.7 rebounds in just under 10 minutes a contest. Shot just under 41% from the field while notching nine steals on the season.
As a sophomore:
Played in 32 games averaging 28 minutes per game... shot 35% from the field and averaged just over 8 points per game and just under 8 rebounds per game. Tallied 68 assists and 50 steals.
As a freshman:
Played in 27 games averaging 22 minutes per game. Shot 41% from the field and averaged 6.8 points per game. She also grabbed 151 rebounds along with 29 assists and 39 steals.
General:
Nnamdi plans on attending medical school upon graduation. His most exciting memory was dunking over someone.

“I chose Division II because it provides me with the opportunity to further my studies while playing basketball against great competition.”
