Biography
About Tobar: A speedy defender, Vanessa returns to the Lady Deacons for the 2012 season as a senior after losing the 2011 season to injury, and will once again become a major part of the club's back line.
As a junior: Played in 15 games with nine starts...Totaled a goal and an assist on seven shots, with three shots on goal.
As a freshman: Played in 17 games with 17 starts...Totaled three shots, including two shots on goal.
Before Bloomfield: Vanessa starred at West Orange High School for four seasons before joining the Bloomfield College women’s soccer program.
Why Vanessa chose Division II: “I chose Bloomfield College because it is a very good school that is close to my home.”
