About Brantley:
Entering his second season as a team captain, Elias brings excellent leadership and work ethic to the Deacons.  Brantley runs the Deacons’ offense with precision, and is an outstanding facilitator off the bench for Bloomfield

As a Junior:
Played in all 30 games for the Deacons, averaging 4.8 points and 1.1
rebounds 16.3 minutes a game.  Finished tied for fourth on the team with 43 total assists, sixth with 21 steals, and shot 90% from the free throw line in 31 attempts.

As a sophomore:
Played in 31 games averaging 22 minutes per game... Shot 42% from the field and 73% from the foul line.  Averaged 4.9 points per game and totaled 44 assists, 43 boards, and 23 steals.

As a freshman:
Appeared in 20 games averaging 5.5 minutes per game.

general:
After graduation, Elias plans on teaching mathematics at the college level.

Why Elias chose division II:
“I chose Division II because it provided me with a great opportunity
to play basketball at a high level, at a school close to my home."
