Lindsey Ciresa is entering her senior season at Bloomfield and can play a key role for the Deacons if she can rebound from offseason surgery.  When healthy, Ciresa has the potential to be dominant in the circle.  Also a power source at the plate, Ciresa was an All-CACC 2nd Team outfielder in 2011.  

2012: Despite battling through an injury-plagued season in 2012, Ciresa provided some key moments for the Deacons before a season-ending injury during the regular season finale at Nyack.  Ciresa's top performance came against Wilmington when she battled Katie Warrington, the reigning CACC Pitcher of the Year at the time, in a great pitchers' duel.  Ciresa pitched six innings and allowed just one earned run to lead BC to a 4-3 win.  The win was the first victory over Wilmington since 2006.  

2011: Ciresa was the Deacons' workhorse in the circle in 2011 and fared well in her first season at Bloomfield.  Ciresa was 4th in the CACC in innings pitched and also 4th with 172 strikeouts.  Her total of 172 strikeouts set a BC record during the D2 era and her total of 14 wins tied Brianne Moore's team record set in 2009.  Ciresa had many standout efforts during the season, including hurling BC's first no hitter during the D2 era when she was nearly perfect against Nyack in a 3-0 win.  Ciresa also pitched 6 innings of 1 hit ball in relief in a 4-3 BC win over USP and pitched 5 innings of 2 hit, shutout ball in a 1-0 loss in the CACC playoffs against Wilmington.  Ciresa showed good power in her first season as a Deacon as well, hitting .296 with 4 homers and 24 RBI in being named a 2nd Team All-CACC outfielder.
