Bloomfield College

About Reid:  A lethal forward with tremendous speed, “Bullet” helped lead the Deacons to the program's first NCAA Tournament appearance in 2010.  One of the fastest players in the East Region, Bullet’s presence on the field created havoc for opposing defenses throughout his two-year tenure at Bloomfield College.

As a senior:  Played in 20 games with 19 starts...Tallied a team and league-high 16 goals to go with six assists, his 38 total points the top total in the CACC...A first team All-CACC selection and the CACC Player of the Year, Reid earned first team Daktronics, and second team NSCAA All-Region accolades as a senior...CACC Player of the Week for the weeks of September 13...Honorable Mention CACC Player of the Week for the weeks of October 18, October 25 and November 1, 2010.

As a junior:  Played in 15 games with 14 starts for the 2008 Deacons...His 10 goals placed him in a tie for the team lead, his 24 total points good for second on the squad...Bullet’s outstanding play as a junior earned him a second team All-CACC selection. 

Essex County College:  In both seasons at Essex, Dwayne was named a first team All-Region 19, and a first team All-GSAC selection.

Why Dwayne chose Division II:  “I chose Bloomfield College because of the reputation the soccer program has. I wanted to be a part of a winning team, and I knew Bloomfield would give me that opportunity.”

Coach Falloon on Reid:  “Dwayne's energy, skill and fighting spirit gave defenders a hard day each time out, and his explosive speed and trickery made him very tough to contain during his career.  He is one of the best scorers to every play at Bloomfield, and I have no doubt he will succeed should he get a chance to play at the next level.”
