About Rosa:  A four-year starter for the Deacons at the hot corner, Rosa manned the hot corner as a third baseman for Bloomfield throughout his collegiate career.  A talented player on both sides of the ball, Chris is currently in the top five on the program's All-Time Games Played list. 

As a senior:  Played in 32 games with 32 starts in 2011...Hit .234 with two doubles, two triples and 11 RBI...Finished fourth on the club with 25 hits, his 25 total bases the fifth-best total on the Deacons...Posted the fifth-highest on-base percentage at .325, and converted three of four stolen base attempts.

As a junior:  Played in 37 games with 35 starts...Totaled 32 hits in 126 at-bats, with three doubles and eight RBIs...Swiped three stolen bases, while drawing nine walks and scoring 12 runs.    

As a sophomore:  Played in 43 games for the Deacons in 2009, making 43 starts...Hit .252 overall, including a .400 batting average in CACC play...Belted five doubles and drove in 16 runs while drawing 15 walks...Finished the season with a .329 on-base percentage, and was 2-3 in stolen base attempts.

As a freshman:  Hit .283 in his freshman season, starting 45 games at third base...Moved into the three-hole late in the 2008 season, collecting 39 hits with seven doubles.  Stole six bags on eight attempts.

Why Chris chose Division II:  “I chose to attend Bloomfield because I knew it was a great fit for me both athletically and academically.”
