Biography

About Nieves:  A slick-fielding shortstop, David played one season for the Deacons in the infield, providing quality defense up the middle for Bloomfield. 

As a junior:  Played in 23 games with 21 starts for Bloomfield in 2011...Posted a .106 batting average in 66 at-bats, driving in seven runs and drawing eight walks. 

Why David chose Division II:  “I chose Bloomfield College because it gave me the opportunity to play baseball at a high level.”
