Biography

Aly Schraer quickly established herself as the Deacons' ace during her first year and returns in that role in 2013.  Schraer had missed the 2010 and 2011 college seasons, but fared tremendously well in her return to action.  With the year experience playing for BC, Schraer hopes to continue to build on the success she had in 2012.    

2012: In just her first season at Bloomfield College, Aly Schraer set a school record by winning 17 games in the circle.  She finished with a record of 17-6 on the season with a 2.83 ERA.  Her 17 wins placed her fourth in the CACC.  Schraer recorded all three of Bloomfield College's playoff wins in 2012, becoming just the fifth pitcher to record three or more wins in a single tournament.  For her efforts, Schraer was named to the All-CACC Tournament Team.  Schraer recorded three shutouts on the season, including shutouts of top non-conference foes Queens and St. Rose.
