About Luzzi:  A versatile outfielder with power to the gaps, Jason enjoyed a two-year career as a member of the Bloomfield College baseball program, ending his tenure as a senior in 2012.

As a senior:  Appeared in 31 games for Bloomfield in 2012, totaling 78 at-bats...Notched 13 hits, including five doubles...Totaled 10 RBIs and 10 walks on the season.

As a junior:  Played in 25 games with 18 starts as an outfielder...Hit .234 with six doubles, a triple and a home run...Tallied 15 hits in 64 at-bats, finishing second on the team with a .406 slugging percentage...Drove in six runs with six runs scored.

Before Bloomfield:  A decorated high school athlete, Jason earned All-Conference and All-County honors in football at Belleville High School, and earned All-County and All-State nods as a member of the baseball team during his career...Played baseball for two seasons at Bergen Community College before entering the Bloomfield College program.  

Why Jason chose Division II:  “I chose Bloomfield because I liked the coaches, the players on the team, and the small-school atmosphere Bloomfield provided.”
