Coach Richardson is entering his 2nd year with the Bears for 2024 season with 5+ years of Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) coaching experience, coaching in various roles for Alliance University, his alma mater.
While at Alliance as a student-athlete, Richardson amassed over 200 career innings pitched. He graduated as the career leader in innings pitched and most complete games. He was ranked nationally (NCAA DII) for fewest walks allowed per game and game appearances per team. He received NCAA All-East Region honors as a freshman and All-Conference honors more than once throughout his 4 year career. In 2012 Alliance competed in the NCCAA World Series and Coach Richardson was named as a 1st-Team ALL-NCCAA Tournament Starter for his complete game shutout performance against then ranked #1 Cedarville University. As a senior he was awarded the Graduate Assistant Scholarship and stayed to pursue his MBA in Finance. He played his high school ball in at Wallington High School in Bergen County NJ.
Prior and during his tenure at the collegiate level, Richardson was on staff at Professional Baseball Instruction (PBI) in Ramsey, NJ. He coached on several teams including being an Assistant Coach on the 2013 ACBL Championship winning Collegiate Summer Team, NJ Eagles.
He currently resides in Passaic County NJ. with his wife, Miriam.
