Biography
About Castillo: A transfer from Union County Community College, Louis worked as both a spot starter and a reliever over his two-year career at Bloomfield. Armed with a devastating curveball, Louis was a solid contributor to the Deacons in each of his two seasons with the team.
As a senior: Appeared in seven games with two starts...Totaled 22.1 innings pitched, yielding 10 earned runs and just eight walks...Finished the year 1-0 with a 4.03 ERA, picking up the victory in the club's
3-2 victory over Caldwell College April 27, 2011.
As a junior: Appeared in 10 games for Bloomfield, making four starts...Surrendered 19 earned runs in 25.1 innings pitched...Walked 10 hitters, while striking out 15 and surrendering 43 hits.
