Biography

About Sanchez:  A selfless player and a solid defender, Julio provided quality depth along the Deacons’ last line of defense, as well as outstanding veteran leadership throughout his career at Bloomfield.

As a senior:  Saw time in four games for Bloomfield as a senior in 2010.

As a junior:  Played in four games on the defense for the 2009 Deacons.

As a sophomore:  Played in a pair of games as a defender for the 2008 club.

As a freshman:  Played in 11 games for the Deacons in 2007, with a pair of starts. 

Why Julio chose Division II:  “I chose to go to Bloomfield College because it was an amazing opportunity to get a quality education, and play for a great soccer program.”

Coach Falloon on Sanchez:  “Julio’s work ethic improved dramatically since I came on here in 2008.  He was a team-first player, someone the younger guys on our team learned a great deal from as he got older.”
