Biography

About Perez: A talented forward, Luis provided quality depth at the forward position throughout his career at Bloomfield, helping the team reach the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history in 2010.

As a senior:  Played in four games for Bloomfield, notching a goal on two shots.

As a junior:  Played in seven games for the Deacons in 2009, registering three shots. 

As a sophomore:  Played in 18 games with 14 starts for the 2008 Deacons...Registered five goals on 31 shots, including 13 shots on goal...His 10 points were good for fourth on a club that went to the CACC Tournament, losing in the first round to Holy Family University. 

As a freshman:  Played in 16 games with eight starts for the 2007 squad...Tallied three goals on 30 shots, including 10 shots on goal. 

Why Luis chose Division II:  “I chose to come to Bloomfield because I knew it would give me the opportunity to further myself as a student and as a player.”

Coach Falloon on Perez: “Luis was a very persistent, hard-working player who never gave up.  He always tried very hard to improve himself, and did whatever it took to help the team.  He was a mentally-strong player, and extremely coachable, which helped him to become a better player in his time here.”
