Biography

Amanda Svenson enters her senior year as a top member of the Bloomfield College softball outfield.  With a year experience in the CACC under her belt, Svenson has the potential to break through as a dangerous and consistent hitter in BC's lineup.  A good outfielder with a strong arm, Svenson will be counted on to play a solid right field once again in 2013 for the Deacons.

2012: Sevnson enjoyed a smooth transition into the CACC from the JUCO level as the team's everyday right fielder.  Svenson was one of only four players to play in all 54 games for BC and was productive player throughout the year.  Svenson batted .264 with six home runs and 31 RBIs.  Her home run and RBI totals were good for second on the team.  Svenson became just the second player to ever hit three home runs in a single CACC tournament when she belted homers against Georgian Court, Dominican and Post.  She was named to the All-CACC Tournament team for her efforts.
